Your Killer IXDA Talk

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

You want to develop a talk or workshop for a design conference. You know there is huge value in sharing knowledge and lessons learned with your community. But, it feels impossible to do! What could it even be about?! This workshop will help you crack the code for successfully designing a talk or workshop topic using the skills you already have. You’ll apply principles from psychology, memoir writing, and conference masters to uncover what your talk can and should be about. Then, you’ll leverage techniques from user research, content strategy, information architecture and interaction design to develop ideas, test them out, and build an awesome proposal. You’ll leave the workshop with a plan and resources to finish and present your next talk or workshop in your local community and even IXDA2017!
